Abstract
Olivier Debré was a prominent French abstract painter known for his large-scale, colorful, and emotionally charged works. He is considered a leading figure in Lyrical Abstraction, a movement characterized by its emphasis on color, gesture, and subjective expression.
He Initially studied architecture at the Paris School of Fine Arts, but later turned to painting. He Frequented the studio of Pablo Picasso and was encouraged by him to explore abstraction. He was also influenced by American Abstract Expressionists like Mark Rothko and Franz Kline.
