Artist's words:
This painting grew from the feeling that everything had quietly shifted place. The coloured shapes are like planets or pieces of a life that no longer sit where they used to, while the dense grey field holds the memory of how things were. It’s about accepting that the universe can fall apart and come back together in a new order, and finding a path through that change.
