Thibaut CHATAIGNER

A French engineer living in Japan, Thibaut Chataigner turned to artistic creation following a profound personal experience. His work develops an experimental practice situated between photography and painting. In the series presented here, he explores light, transparency, and sensory perceptions to reveal the living, hidden dimension of the visible.

The works of Thibaut CHATAIGNER are presented on IKONO ART on the occasion of the exhibition "Yokohama photographed from Meiji to Reiwa" organised by the French Institute of Yokohama in partnership with Ikono Art and Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, from June 25 to July 12, 2026.
